RStudio memory usage incorrect

Our updated RStudio version 2025.01 contains a bug: the displayed memory use is the sum of all users, not just you. The developers appear to have fixed in Github so hopefully they publish a release soon. The workaround is: memory drop-down menu -> Memory usage report … -> Used by R objects

Slow SSH logins & Conda

For many this is caused by automatic loading of Conda from a network file system (Ceph). To resolve this we have collated several Conda configuration optimisations in our documentation; you can implement these to improve login and loading times: python-cbrg.
